Information: Architectural designer is British design studio ‘AL_A’ led by architect ‘Amanda Levete’ with Thai architect ‘Pi Architects’ acting as ‘Architect of record’. Towering silver-gray architecture. From the top tower to the base The two main functional areas are hotels and shopping centers. Interlocked by a continuous long arc connecting the two parts together in a homogeneous manner. Clearly asymmetrical shapes create asymmetrical aspects in all aspects of perspective. In the overview of the floor plan The curve of the building twists into the shape of ‘Infinite’ or the number 8 that the project owner wants to convey the endless prosperity of Central Group’s business. the exterior of the building It is the concept of extracting the characteristics of patterns from traditional Thai architecture. with the digital technology of construction The architecture’s curved surfaces are clad with as many as 300,000 aluminum panels overlapping to create a blurry effect. Also known as the ‘Moiré Effect’ because of the rounded shape of the building. Therefore, conventional straight pellets cannot be installed. Technology to calculate the angle of installation of each pellet must be calculated in advance.
